    im a smoker.. but im looking forward to stop the habit, they have told me to try those fake candy cigars but im not sure if that would help, can any one give me more suggestions?

    Smoking is very bad habit. It is badly injures to health. It is good if you want to quite the habit so better that you quit it slowly!!!

    Smoking is not good for health. First you need to makeup your mind and a strong determination of quit smoking then consult with quit smoking centre and follow their instruction to give up this bad and harmful habit.

    Killing habit is smoking but it may not help you to that extent, so try for something more effective..

    Ive been a smoker for almost a decade and at first I thought it was hard to stop and it really is but when you think deep and just stop and then move on, I just keep myself busy with other things to the point that I don't have the luxury of wasting precious time and smoking. It is like undergoing to a rehab for my self and consistency is the key, if you like to stop smoking never taste it again until the time comes that it will come naturally for you to resist and then your body will no longer think smoking is a reward for yourself rather a setback if you do so.

    Hello, they can help but its better to take medication to stop smoking.

    It is a bad habit .You can stop the habit by changing your friends company slowly.It is trend your friends smoker and you will also start smoking by coping your friends.

    I quit by switching to electronic "cigarettes", then slowly reducing the nicotine content of the cartridges I used. Then after I got low enough I just stopped using that too. It worked, it's like how nicotine patches work only you're "smoking" it through water vapor instead, and can control how much or how little you do in a day. It's also nice because you still get the whole physical actions of smoking a cigg, but now all the harmful carcinogens and crap is taken out of the equation, so it's not harmful to those around you, and you can "smoke" inside. All you get is the nicotine content, just like with a patch.

    Medication didn't work for me, they made me miserable. I like the physical act of smoking somewhat, so the ecigs covered that, and the meds I tried actually made me feel sick, which made me want to smoke even more.

    You can do the "candy cigarettes" if you'd like, and if you think cold turkey won't be too difficult for you. It was for me. Tried it 3 times to no avail. It just depends on how much you smoke, how determined you are to quit, how addicted you are, things like that. You just have to try what you think might help you, and if it doesn't, try something else.

    Quitting smoking is good, best decision a person can make to improve their quality of life...it's just not an easy thing to do!

    And no, you do not have to stop being around anyone you know who smokes...it's not a crack addiction, for crying out loud! But I would ask those closest to you and who you speand the most time with if they will quit with you or at least not smoke around you. Even if they just smoke less in your company, not only does it help you, it's helping them too!

    For chain smokers it is really difficult to leave the specific habit suddenly. But smoking injurious to health and possibly you can reduce the number of cigarettes you used to smoke day by day. At end of few months you could free from smoking habit.
