    Tips to Prevent Arthritis
    Uric acid accumulated in the blood will corrode the bone cartilages and result in arthritis. People who drink less water or don’t pass urine frequently are prone to joint pains. Serious conditions will result in arthritis.
    Healthy lifestyle is important to prevent arthritis. Make it a habit to drink 2 liters of water everyday. Avoid overeating and junk foods. Aerated drinks will impair the digestive system. Eat fresh fruits & vegetables. Practice simple exercises to give your joints flexibility. Do not self-medicate. Never ignore any pain, it is better to consult a doctor immediately.

    This tips that you have mentioned are so informative. Causes and Symptoms of Arthritis and pretty well explained. If one follow some basic steps like exercise regularly, drink apt level of water regularly, eat healthy diet at correct intervals, etc, they will live a problem-free healthy life. In addition to this, i have heard about a therapy called "Floatation System" that helps the problem of Arthritis in a better way. The information about this therapy is available on your experience | float. Gather some useful info about this and live a stress-free lively life.

    1. Exercise

    It can be your best tool against osteoarthritis because exercise strengthens your muscles and works to keep your joints flexible. Exercise can also help you to maintain a healthy weight (or lose weight if necessary). Obesity is often considered a factor in some types of arthritis. However, be sensible: Don't overdo high-impact aerobics such as running. And if a particular joint (for example, those in your knees, ankles, and feet) starts to suffer from overuse, change your exercise regimen. Try low-impact exercises such as walking and swimming and stretching exercises to loosen your joints, increase your range of motion, strengthen your muscles, and more important, relieve arthritis pain.

    2. Protect your knees against injury during sports, starting in your teens

    Wear protective gear such as knee and elbow pads when playing contact sports or other, riskier sports such as in-line skating.

    3. Sit straight and don't slump

    Your mother was right! Good posture, whether sitting or standing, can help reduce the pressure on the joints, especially those in your spine.

    4. Learn to perform your job without stressing your joints

    If your job requires repetitive movement (such as typing) or movement that stresses your joints, be sure to vary your activities and working position as much as possible.

    5. Safety First

    Some safety concerns that may help to prevent osteoarthritis in your daily life, for example, wear a seat belt to prevent injury to your knees (and other body parts) in case of a car accident.

    tcmstudyonline3, thanks for the informtion, I would like to ask, if a man have pain i left knee which don't heal in 7 days, what would be that? arthritis? AM I asking something wrong??

    For Rheumatoid Arthritis Avoid following Foods :

    • drinking alcohol and coffee
    • foods that contain omega 6 Fatty Acids
    • Potatoes, peppers, eggplant and tomatoes
    • Foods which contain excess refined sugar and salt
    • Eggs, dairy products and red meats
    • Foods rich in oxalic acid. A few of these foods are cranberries, plums, spinach, chard and rhubarb.

    Also you can avoid arthritis by not drinking alcohol. Prevention of arthritis means living healthy life. Prevent while you are young, increase of uric acid in blood is type of gouty arthritis.

    I highly appreciate your post. I agree with the quotes made by you for drinking plenty of water, well let you suffer from Arthritis or not its very important to drink water in daily life.
