I don't think its a good idea. Not all medicines that humans take can be administered to dogs. For example, you should not be giving your dog Paracetamol but they can be given aspirin with vet's approval. So, your vet might be the right person to know if you can try the med on your dog. Secondly, the dosage for a dog varies from that of humans and even in cases when a medicine can be used on dogs, the dosage might not be the same. And, most important of all, please consult a vet to make sure your dog is really suffering from arthritis or if its suffering from any other condition. Hope it helps.

The human medications for treating dog arthritis are broadly similar but there are always exceptions waiting to catch you out, so be very careful.

Use always prescribed medication for animals , never use human medication to animals because animals have different body structure and changes. It will be harmful for for both human and animals to mix medication.

I have read online they are pretty similar however, you never know how your particular dog will react to the medication. Check with your Vet and then he or she may be able to prescribe you something better for the animal. I know a lot of people about the Vet because of cost but it would be a horrible accident if you gave the medication and then the reaction was fatal? Just double check with your Vet first.

Well, this is not the best decision to make. It is very important to have in mind that just as you would never give your child a drug that is not prescribed to them so it is with a dog.

The dog is always faithful and loyal to you.....why not try and show some love!

Helloooooo..... Please do NOT give your dog any human medication without first consulting a vet. Even with the best Purpose giving a dog human medication can seriously Damage your dog and in some cases cause death.
