Default Very bad news today. :-( OT

    Hi Everyone,

So far, the day was going great for my husband, Don and I. We went to my
eye doctor appt. and he gave me a script for Tears Naturale because he said
the slight pain, some times oozing, and gritty/sandy feeling in both eyes
was due partly to my age (of course) and partly due to the weather being
very dry in the fall and winter. He said the drops would relieve my eyes
probably in a few days. That was the good news.

The bad news came in the afternoon after we returned home. My sister-in-law
called and Don answered the phone to find out that her husband has a tumor
on one of his lungs. :-( He is not old by any means either. We both adore
this man because he is so upbeat, funny and grateful just to be alive, etc.,
that we are just about devastated to hear this. He will have a Gamma Scan
tomorrow and then maybe they will know something. They will, of course,
keep us updated as things progress. I just wanted to say that I am very,
very sad tonight and need some hugs and support. :-( If any of you pray,
please pray for him. Otherwise, we will take anything we can get; good
vibes, good thoughts, etc. Thank you all so much for being here for me!

    Gentle hugs,

    Diane

What's the latest on your brother in law? Any more news after his
    testing?

Don't go to the worst case scenerio just yet, as I have a couple of
friends who have beat lung cancer. (if that is even what it turns out
    to be).

Hopefully it turns out to be nothing to worry about.

I have two nodules in my lungs that they keep an eye on, but so far
there hasn't been any need for concern. The nodules are there from
damage done from infections and from my RA.

Thank you so much Donna! I really appreciate your asking. No news yet.
Don will call Louise this week some time. We are praying and are hopeful.
I will keep you updated when we learn something. Yes, many have beaten the
cancer. I have one nodule, very small, on one lung that they are keeping an
eye on too, Donna. Hope yours turns out to be nothing also. Take care!

    Gentle hugs,

    Diane
