Ah, Donna, I am sorry to hear about your parents' rapid decline. Having had
both parents die unexpectedly,I go back and forth on which way is harder. I
don't think eithr of them would have done things differently if they'd known
though and we 'kids' had the sense to let them know how we felt while we had
them. Either way is really hard!

I hope the botox is helping with those blasted spasms of your. it really
sucks to go through more torture when you are trying to improve things.

I'm having a low-key weekend, though I hope to get to the fireworks tonight.
Mike plans to go up to Traverse to see the Beach Bums this afternoon then to
Interlochen for a concert. I can't sit through all that yet though. He's so
happy to have me doing well, I have to keep reminding him I'm just 2 weeks
and 2 days (as of today) post-op! lol

Hey Nann, how are you feeling now? Is each day bringing a little bit of
    improvement?

I've got to imagine this heat we have been having hasn't been making you
want to run any races! Whew, we have had soooo many days of 90+
    weather already!

Great to hear you are home, Nann, and recovering well.

It is hot, isn't it? We have 100 with a heat index of 115. In other
words stay where it is cool. Thank goodness, we have a/c. We can hear
it running all the time. I am so relieved that we got the equal payment
plan. Although with all this hear, the average is probably going to go
up. It is supposed to start cooling off to the lower 90's. Did you
know that it isn't considered "hot" until it is 90 or above? We found
that out when we first came here and thought it was funny.

LJ, up here the definition of a heat wave is 3 days with highs of 90 or
higher. Having spent most of my life in the SE US, I flat out cracked up
when I heard that! Then again, a lot fewer people have a/c here.

've not even been on the computer much this week. The cooler days we had for
a bit helped and now we're a bit cooler being right on the lake but the
    humidity is getting rough!

I'm doing well on recovering from the surgery with my main problem there
being impatience. The hard part is that it's now been over 5 weeks since my
last Humira shot and I'm really starting to feel it. Aching hands have kept
me from doing much on the computer. I see the surgeon Friday and I'm hoping
I can talk him into letting me restart Humira a week early as my incision
    looks so good. Who kows?
