    what have you heard?

so far I have been able to find it locally at a name brand pharmacy. my
    aarp mail order has none.

never found a dif in preservative free or with preservative in efficacy.
course I don't seem to notice any dif when I use it anyway.

can't refill with insur for weeks, will know more then, wish me luck.

Arthritis magazine claimed years ago, oral was inefficient above 15. My
brain dead RD switched me on my insistence, he never heard this. He
never heard anything, dumped him. He shd be 'offed' for medicine's
    sake.

More news today. The shortage might be only only for the
preservative free injectable form, the type used for juvenile
    leukema.
Horrific. All available preservative free injectable methotrexate
goes to the kids, and hopefully there is enough.

the difference is that the Methx. does not have to go through the gut to get
into the system. Actually a larger amount goes to work to control
inflam.arth. For me, taking the shot was a hassle and I onlu switch to
shots when I was having stomach trouble. My liver started acting up and I
could cut back on the amount taken and have the same control. I hope this
    helps a little.
