If I'm not mistaken, CKD = chronic kidney disease.

4:47pm You are correct Donna. I have a Rare CKD. I have just about
every form of Arthritis there is but none have not been associated with
the CKD. I have and have had all types of Specialists over the years and
none have ever bundled them togeather. I'm just readig posts for the
first time in a few days, so maybe i missed something or didn't get far
    enough in reading posts. Moe

Do they know what caused your CKD?

Seems as though we are hearing about more and more people with CKD.

Wonder if it is all the meds we use now a days or what?

5:43pm No specific cause for my CKD Donna. I'd had varrious symptoms
for years. Drs treating each symptom instead of trying to find the cause
of such when I'd never been bothered with any of these conditions, not
even when Pregnant. I put my foot down one day with the Dr. All kinds of
tests were then done. Kidney problems. Biopsy done after refferring me
to a Neph. Rare CKD. Not enough people with that condition to do a Mass
    Study at that time.
Lots of Drs still ask me what it is when they see it on my list of
Medical Conditions. I'm still just being treated. Thank the Lord I am
still not on Dialysis. I do have to watch my intake of lots of food and
drink items, which I am used to after all these years, but it can be a
headache sometimes, especially with all the other conditions I deal with
    daily. God is good. Moe

So your joint pain / arthritis is caused from your Chronic Kidney
    Disease?

Are you able to take anything at all for the pain with the kidney
    disease?
