    Default An appointment! :-)

I took Donna's advice and called my allergist's office this morning. I
requested a copy of my biopsy results and also a form so I could have an
x-ray taken of my thyroid. Her recep/nurse said she was not in today, but I
could come to see her tomorrow (Tues.) at 12:45. I was really happy to hear
that. :-) So...I am going there and also am bringing my copy of the blood
test results from Oct. 2012. I need her to go over 4 results with me. I
will let you all know what she says and does. I had a very, very bad night
last night with pain all over and muscle contractions, etc. I tossed and
turned and slept on and off and had nightmares, etc. You don't want to know
anymore. I finally gave in this afternoon and took a percocet around 3:00,
I think. It hasn't taken away all the pain, but sure has helped. I also
called my urologist to complain (won't go into detail) and asked his
recep/nurse if I could have a pain killer. She said NO! He won't give me
anything at all. :-( So...I tried calling my gyno's office to see if he
would take pity on me like he did in Nov. when he gave me a script for 20
percocets. So far, no phone call back and nothing at the pharmacy for me,
yet. He may not do it this time. :-( Well, if I can't get anywhere with
this now, then maybe in Feb. when I see my pdoc and tell him about the pain
and depression. I will see. For now, at least I have two more percocets
left, for emergencies. The Tylenol for arthritis pain doesn't help me at
all. Oh, and I looked up thyroid and goiter on the Mayo Clinic website.
Guess what? I seem to have quite a few of the symptoms, but that doesn't
necessarily mean that I have a goiter or something, but...my grandmother had
a goiter removed when she was either in her 70's or 80's and everything
turned out fine for her. She even lived to be 100! :-) Thank you Donna
and everyone! I hope you all had a pain-free day.

    Gentle hugs,

    Diane

Hope all goes well with your appointment and that some things are
    clarified for you!

Hope you ask the allergist about your issue with the dryness of your
    nasal passage too.

Thank you Donna! LOL Don't worry about my nose. I have written everything
down that I want to bug her about because of my bad memory. :-) One of the
things is my nose. LOL I will let you know what she says and does after
the appt. Hope you feel okay today!
